Business Description
LC Pro Electric is a family-owned, licensed, and insured electrical contractor serving Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg, Pearland, Houston, Katy, and surrounding Fort Bend communities. Specializing in residential and commercial electrical services, the company is known for quality workmanship, honest communication, and dependable customer service. LC Pro Electric was founded by Lee Choing, a master electrician with nearly 30 years of experience in the electrical trade. His career began in Philadelphia, where he started helping a friend with a contracting business. What began as side work quickly became a passion, leading him to attend trade school and eventually earn his master electrician credentials.
After establishing his career in Philadelphia, Lee and his family relocated to the Houston area to build both a business and a life in a community they believed offered exceptional opportunities, strong neighborhoods, and an outstanding quality of life. Today, LC Pro Electric proudly serves homeowners and businesses throughout Katy, Sugar Land, Houston, and the surrounding areas. Unlike companies where customers rarely meet the owner, Lee remains actively involved in projects. He believes professionalism extends beyond electrical expertise, so his team wears boot covers, cleans up thoroughly after every job, and treats each home with the same care and respect they would expect in their own. What continues to motivate Lee after nearly three decades is solving electrical problems and helping people. Every project presents a unique challenge, whether it's upgrading an electrical panel, installing an EV charger, adding a whole-home generator, or troubleshooting a complex wiring issue. That commitment to quality workmanship, honest communication, and dependable service has helped LC Pro Electric build a strong reputation throughout the Houston Metro.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my electrical panel needs to be upgraded?+
Common signs that your electrical panel may need an upgrade include frequently tripped breakers, flickering lights, burning odors near the panel, buzzing sounds, or not having enough capacity for new appliances or an EV charger. Older homes with 100-amp service may also benefit from upgrading to a 200-amp panel. LC Pro Electric can inspect your electrical system and recommend whether a repair or panel replacement is the safest solution.
Can I install an EV charger at home?+
Yes. Most homes can support a Level 2 EV charger, but installation should always be performed by a licensed electrician. The electrical panel must have enough capacity, the circuit must be properly sized, and all local electrical codes must be followed. LC Pro Electric installs Level 1, Level 2, and commercial EV chargers throughout the Houston Metro and can determine whether your home requires a panel upgrade before installation
When should I install a whole-home standby generator?+
A standby generator is a good investment if your area experiences frequent power outages, severe storms, or hurricanes. Unlike portable generators, a whole-home generator automatically restores power when the utility goes out, helping keep essential appliances, HVAC systems, refrigerators, medical equipment, and lighting running safely. LC Pro Electric installs Generac and Kohler standby generators for homeowners throughout Katy and the Houston Metro.
What are the warning signs of an electrical problem in my home?+
Electrical issues often start with small warning signs. You should contact a licensed electrician if you notice flickering lights, outlets that feel warm, burning smells, sparks, buzzing sounds, frequently tripped breakers, or outlets that no longer work properly. Addressing these problems early can help prevent equipment damage, electrical fires, and unexpected power failures. LC Pro Electric provides troubleshooting and repairs for residential electrical systems throughout the Houston area.
Why should I hire a licensed electrician instead of doing electrical work myself?+
Electrical work involves safety risks and must comply with local building and electrical codes. A licensed electrician has the training and experience to perform installations and repairs safely, helping reduce the risk of electrical shock, fire hazards, and failed inspections. LC Pro Electric is fully licensed and insured, with nearly 30 years of experience serving homeowners and businesses throughout Katy and the Houston Metro.
